Leanne Pressley
Executive Director
Leanne joined Kempton of Rock Hill in 2016 as the Business Office Manager. She soon decided she was interested in becoming an administration and received her license in 2018. She traveled as an Ops Specialist 2019-2020 until the role of Executive Director became available in Rock Hill. She was excited to accept the executive director position and to come home to her Kempton family. Leanne not only has a passion for serving seniors but she has found her purpose to ensure seniors live out their Best Days Ever at Kempton of Rock Hill.
Leanne has been married to Colin for 18 years. Colin is retired from the US Army where he served 31 years. When not at work, she enjoys boat rides and spending time at the lake. She also enjoys walking her fur babies, Hunter and Lily Mae.
Nick Allen
Director of Nursing and Resident Care
Nick has always had a passion for helping others and decided to become a nurse after a nurse saved his brother’s life. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Carolina. Throughout his career, he has worked in various nursing roles, including bedside hospital nursing, travel nursing, and hospice nursing. In 2022, Nick joined Kempton of Rock Hill as the Director of Nursing/Resident Care, where he loves working with families to ensure everyone is happy and healthy.
Jenae Forsythe
Sales Director
Jenae Smith Forsythe is passionate about helping seniors and their families, a calling inspired by her grandmother. Jenae has served on various boards and volunteers with organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association and the Parkinson’s Association of the Carolinas. Her background includes roles in corporate sales and marketing, where she has achieved significant success. In her free time, Jenae enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and live music.
Grace Powell
Director of Hopitality
Grace Powell joined our team in December 2022 as the Director of Hospitality. Originally from Jamaica, Grace’s passion for food is more than a career—it’s her calling. She is a Certified Dietary Manager with the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals and holds a ServSafe certification. Grace is dedicated to continuing her culinary education. Grace is deeply committed to the residents she serves, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
Grace is happily married to Neville and is a loving mother to two children, Alex and Makayla. A devout Christian, she is an active member of the Unity Charlotte Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Kannapolis, NC. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and singing.
Deb Thomas
Dementia Care Director
Deb Thomas is the Dementia Care Director at Kempton of Rock Hill, where she has worked since 2008. She found her true calling in the Memory Care community in 2014. Passionate about advocating for residents, Deb believes in the power of a supportive team and cherishes the journey with residents and their families.
A mother of four and Yaya to two grandchildren, Deb was born and raised in New England and moved to South Carolina in 2007. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Amy Welliver
Business Office Manager
Amy joined Kempton of Rock Hill in 2020 as the Lead Concierge. Due to her outstanding performance and passion, she quickly advanced to the position of Business Office Manager. With 23 years of advanced professional experience as a paralegal and office manager for an international corporation in Connecticut, this opportunity was a perfect fit for her. Amy’s heartfelt passion for the well-being and care of the residents makes her a valuable team member at Kempton of Rock Hill. She was married to the love of her life for 32 years and they have three grown sons and four grandchildren. Her love for her family fills her heart and soul.
Keith Smith
Maintenance Manager
Keith joined Kempton of Rock Hill in 2021 as the Maintenance Manager, bringing with him 6 years of experience in the field and over 20 years in industrial maintenance. The job is challenging, requiring the building to be kept in top condition, but with a great staff and the rewarding experience of working with seniors, it has been a fulfilling career.
In 2022, Keith married Cindy, an optician with over 30 years of experience. When not working, Keith enjoys spending time at the beach.
